Program Note
Venation, the arrangement of veins in a leaf, represents the vascular structure of the organ extending into the leaf via the petiole and provides transportation of nutrients between leaf and stem, and plays a crucial role in the support of the leaf water status and photosynthetic capacity. With its characteristic shape, the work is written with the belief that even us as a human being will also stand together and support each other as a community in spite of any physical or mental distance.
